Brighton Beach Clean with Aveda UK

On Monday 21st March the Mary Handy team headed down to Brighton Beach to take part in a Beach Clean up organised by Aveda UK & the Marine Conservation Society. We took the day and ran with it and made it fun while we strolled along the sea front collecting as much litter as possible. The Mary Handy Team managed to collect a whopping 20kg which was incredible in such a short space of time.

This does not shy away from the fact that as a whole group (along with other Aveda hair salons) we collected a huge 64kg of litter throughout the whole day! Being a salon that has such a strong vision of helping the planet and keeping it green this made us think about how we recycle and makes us even prouder for being part of Green Salon Collective! So guys, please remember to put your trash in a bin and recycle when you can.
