At Mary Handy, your time with us is precious. We endeavour for you to leave our care feeling special and looking amazing. Your salon experience is far more that just a trip to the hairdressers; instead we provide a luxuriously soothing spa experience where you are pampered and have the space and time to unwind.

 

 

It all begins with a soothing neck or head massage. Once greeted by your stylist, they will perform an AVEDA Ritual of Renewal – firstly spritzing an AVEDA Chakra mist for an aromatic start to your journey.

 

 

You’ll then be invited to close your eyes and let any stresses or tensions melt away, as a calming, scented AVEDA aromatic composition oil is massaged on to your neck or scalp.

 

 

After your consultation or colour service, you’ll be lead to our ultra-relaxing basin area for your cleansing service. Gentle sounds, soft lights and luxurious AVEDA products will help you further unwind as you lay back, covered in a warm blanket and experiencing a gorgeous head massage – all facing our beautiful flower wall, that never fails to astound our guests!

 

 

Whilst having your hair service, you can enjoy one of our many drink options. We have a newly opened café that serves barista coffees, teas (including the signature AVEDA Comforting Tea), prosecco, beer and a selection of snacks, such as our delicious toasted chocolate croissant!

 

Our state-of-the-art foot and leg massagers will also be offered to you, so you can simultaneously enjoy a massage whilst having your hair service – divine!

 

 

If time allows, then our stylists love to offer complimentary hand massages using the award winning AVEDA Hand Relief.

 

 

And if you’re really lucky, you may be treated to a cuddle with the handsome and most gentle Mr Handy, our resident Chihuahua and (uncertified but most definitely) therapy dog.
